About Dr. Barna
Dr. James Daniel Barna earned a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology in 1969 from St. Louis University and a J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law in 1978. He has practiced forensic psychology for 45 years in Ohio and Federal Courts.For 33 years he has been on the clinical faculty with library privileges at the School of Professional Psychology at Wright State University.
Dr. Barna is a member of the Dayton Bar Association, American Psychological Association, Ohio Psychological Association and the Dayton Area Psychological Association. He is an approved custody evaluator for the Montgomery County Domestic Relations Court and an approved mediator for the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
Dr. Barna offers “concierge services” infused with up-to-date, data-driven, peer reviewed, published research on best practices in both forensic psychology and clinical psychology.
